El 30 de agosto tuvo lugar la inauguración de la exposición “The Storytellers: Narratives in International Contemporary Art,” en el prestigioso Museo Stenersen de Oslo. La muestra, cuyo título se inspira en la obra de Mario Vargas Llosa, “Los habladores”, participan 25 artistas en su mayoría latinoamericanos, entre los que se cuentan los artistas chilenos Mónica Bengoa y Alfredo Jaar.
Cabe destacar la presencia en la inauguración de Mónica Bengoa, quien presentó sus obras de gran formato tituladas: ‘Einige Beobachtungen über Wildblumen: Bienen-Ragwurz (Ophrys apifera) und Schachblume (Fritillaria meleagris) or Some considerations on wild flowers: Bee Orchid (Ophrys apifera) and Chess Flower (Fritillaria meleagris)’, 2011.

On August 30th, the exhibition “The Storytellers: Narratives in International Contemporary Art” opened at the prestigious Stenersen Museum in Oslo. The exhibition, whose title is inspired by Mario Vargas Llosa’s work “The Storytellers,” features 25 mostly Latin American artists, including Chilean artists Mónica Bengoa and Alfredo Jaar.
It is worth mentioning the presence at the opening of Mónica Bengoa, who presented her large-format works entitled: ‘Einige Beobachtungen über Wildblumen: Bienen-Ragwurz (Ophrys apifera) und Schachblume (Fritillaria meleagris) or Some considerations on wild flowers: Bee Orchid (Ophrys apifera) and Chess Flower (Fritillaria meleagris)’, 2011.
